Just one more reason to stay together. According to credit.com,
Florida is the most expensive state in the nation to file for divorce.
Floridians pay an average of $409 to initiate divorce proceedings. By
contrast, in the least expensive state, Mississippi, filing for divorce
costs only $52, according to credit.com.
This, of course, is only the beginning of the expenses which
typically include attorney’s fees and dividing assets. Credit.com said
divorce is a major contributor to financial woes and damaged credit
ratings.
